I have learned a lot from the period when Aidan was born and now, four years later. I have learned to rely on the support system build around me.
Brandon is my strongest pillar of support. I like to act like I have it all together, and can push through anything, but I can't, especially on very little sleep. Thank you Brandon for being my perfect match and support. Thank you for telling me to get of my phone and go to sleep.
Our families help with the boys too, always being available at a moments notice to take them for an extended stay or just for a couple of hours. I sent up a 'distress signal' a couple of weeks ago that was answered right-away by both sets of grandparents.
Recently, I've meet a lovely group of Moms with similar concerns and struggles that I have faced during these first few years of motherhood. Meeting with "Group Group" a couple of times a month helps me keep things in perspective, tone down my anxiety, and generally be content with being a 'good-enough' mom.
So, thank you so much everyone. Motherhood with two is exciting, fun, and a major challenge to my sanity. I couldn't do it without you.
