I'm really liking the Summer fun list I made! These are achievable goals. This past week we knocked several items off the list; Aidan spent the week in Michigan with Baba and Bampa; We were able to grab a drink at the Chatterbox and say hi to the owner Dave, and we tried out this new restaurant in our old stomping grounds on Mass Ave.

It was a nice night to be out. HOT and HUMID, but we had fun. We had fun laughing at the couple next to us and there uncomfortable 'first date' chatter. This guy was just going on on on about himself. To eat, Brandon had "The End" burger which had me at the ingredients of horseradish cheese and a fried egg. I loooove a fried egg on a hamburger. I had the lobster and arugula salad. It was perfect, light and tasty, very filling. We also split beer battered onion rings. These were NOT purchased frozen and then fried up in the fryer. These were made from scratch and good onion rings. For dessert, key lime pie, also looked home made and had a good tart to sweet ratio.

After dinner, we hung out at the Chatterbox before their weekend jazz act got going. It was empty and comfortable, now smoke free (awesome!!) and felt like home. We met a nice couple visiting Indy from Columbus Ohio and chatted with them about superheros and comic books. Brandon may have found a long lost best friend, but we had to leave shortly after 'met' our new friends and never really got their names or anything. Probably best we just leave them in our heads as those cool people from Ohio :)
Check out my summer fun list for out other projects and fun plans.
I think I've finally convinced Brandon to start blogging too. He's an artsy-writer-photographer at heart. I think he'd enjoy it. I know I'd love to read what he writes.

BRU is one of my favorite places! Best burgers in town, hands down.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so excited to try Bru tonight and see your cute haircut!!
