Day 8, Entertaining Little Brother

Aidan claims Xavier as "HIS" baby. Aidan always referring to him as "My baby." It's really pretty sweet. Last night he was trying to entertain Xavier with a stuffed monkey toy, while Xavier lay in his crib. Aidan is constantly wanting to know if baby brother wants his pacifier, or if he's hungry, or if he needs a new diaper. Before we know it, Xavier will be chasing Aidan around the house. I have a feeling he'll be up and moving much quicker than Aidan was. Believe it or not, yesterday, Xavier rolled himself over (repeatedly) from his tummy to his back!

Happy 6th Anniversary

Our new little family of four celebrates our 6th wedding anniversary!

The kiddos look adorable, but Mom and Dad are looking a little worn down.

Day 7, Trying not to worry

I have the sweetest little bundle perched on my chest.  He's fast asleep.  Belly full.  Tired from a busy night of keeping Mommy and Daddy up.  I'm having a rough day.  I was expecting to get paid today and I didn't, something got messed up with my online requests. Grrr.  Our accounts are nearing $0.  I don't want to fret but it hard not to. Just want to concentrate on this warm little bundle cooing on my chest.

Mommy and Xavier Day

Big brother is off to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa.  Daddy's at work.  It's Xavier and Mommy's first day all alone!  Mommy is wroking on the computer this morning so I'm going to just sit here in my seat and watch her and the ceiling fan.  Ceiling fans are so neat.

Day 5

Mom, I'm tired and my belly is full.  Stop taking my picture and put me in bed.  Go take a nap yourself too.

Thanks baby, I think I'll do just that.

Day 4

17 days old and already growing out of big brothers infant clothes.  The preemie outfits are getting tight, the newborn cothes fit perfect.  I bet he's close to eight pounds now!

Day 3; behavior modification

We've been struggling with Aidan and how to incourage good behavior.  He's been having some struggles with adapting to our changing life.  His routine has totally changed in the past few months.  Its more than the addition of a sibling, we had to stop sending him to daycare etc.

We started rewarding him with a sticker in the calendar for good behavior.  He's responding to it pretty well.  The goal is good behavior for a week and then we'll allow him to play Angry Birds on our phone. 

Day 2

HI! My name is Xavier.  I'm 15 days old today.  I'm. A good little eater, or rather drinker.  Here I am, passed out, milk-drunk, if you will. 
I'm a decent sleeper too.  Except I have my days and nights confused.  Opps.
